Xie Yongbin, secretary of the Jinjiang Economic Development Zone, said that the government had integrated 28,000 square meters of idle factory buildings for the first time. The equipment commissioning of the 100MW high-efficiency battery production line began in October and is scheduled to be fully operational in December this year.

Zhang Maobin also said: "This is the world's first high-efficiency battery production line of millions of megawatts. The data proves that the HDT battery conversion efficiency of this production line is more than 22%, reaching the world's leading level. It marks that China has achieved the industrial target issued by the national ministries four years ahead of schedule."

More importantly, Jinjiang is expected to form an industrial cluster of 100 billion high-efficiency solar cells under the leadership of this leading project.
