On December 13, local Australian media reported that AusIndustry, the Australian government’s professional program implementation department, has invited companies interested in applying for the eighth round of the Small Business Support Program (SBF) for textiles, clothing, footwear (TCF) to apply. The project aims to promote the development of domestic small-scale enterprises by providing up to 50,000 Australian dollars to companies.
The project favors small, outstanding companies with outstanding performance. It will end in June 2016 and will provide 2.5 million Australian dollars per year for eligible companies.
In the past few years, Australian government agencies have been trying to use this project to enhance the innovative capabilities of TCF small businesses to achieve their process, nature and type of change.
Small companies interested in applying for this government grant must meet the following criteria: produce or design qualified TCF products for Australia, employ fewer than 20 employees, have annual turnover of not less than AUD 100,000, and use at least 25% of cash For the proposed qualified project.
Since its launch, the project has funded more than 470 Australian companies.
Prior to the selection of applicants, some information seminars will be held for applicants so that applicants can understand whether they are eligible for election and whether they have an elected competitive advantage.
Guided by AusIndustry, this national seminar will be held in cities from January 30th, 2013, such as Perth, Gold Coast, Sydney and Adelaide.
